I stole the line about money from an episode of House M.D., as the titular character is deriding his young Australian colleague. The coins do indeed have a picture of the sovereign on them, although the paper money has other important figures. In the US, we have our own sovereigns on our money, except the (largely useless) $1 coin with Sacagawea (the only woman on the Lewis and Clark expedition). The future may hold changes; we’re to know in 2026, my sources say.
