As Lightfoot demonstrates, the transition from fox to human is nearly invisible. I always imagine it to be a swift, slightly shimmery sort of thing, if you could see it at all. Watching the tail vanish would be the most visible change, along with the hole in the trousers mending itself at the same time. Hey, this is a full-service sort of transition; no details left untended. Also, to tailoring bills to worry with. Is your landlord this considerate? It does rather set the bar, doesn’t it?
