A Place For Your Stuff

Theo: “ So you’re telling me that my closet is actually a gateway to somewhere else?” Lightfoot: “Well, it was this morning.”
Lightfoot: “The house takes care of us in different ways, and it grows and changes in whatever ways it needs. This morning, it needed to make a gateway in your closet.”
Theo: “Well, it’s just my closet now. Too full of stuff to reveal any hidden doors or anything.”
Lightfoot: “There’s too much junk in there; even a dimensional gateway has limits.” Theo: “I always wondered how all my stuff fit in there in the first place.”

There’s only so much a house can do. The title is borrowed, with great affection, from George Carlin’s comedy album of the same name. As he pointed out, if we didn’t have so much stuff, we wouldn’t need a house. Then again, where would we be without this particular house? Without this comic, for one thing…!

Maybe this other place is the inverse of the house, where furries become human instead.
