What Sacrifice We Make

Sheila: “It all happened so fast, Phee. And it’s all so wonderful and so terrible at the same time.”
Ophelia: “It sounds like you two really care about each other. What’s wrong with that?” Sheila: “THIS! This is what’s wrong! She doesn’t know about this!”
Sheila: “What is going to do when she finds out about me? About us? And if I don’t tell her, am I lying, living a double life?”
Sheila: “Phee, am I going to have to give up being furry in order to be with her?”

Sheila is facing a question that all furries ask themselves, at some point or other. We have to hope that those who love us love all of us.

Those of you who have come to know me well will know that I will not let the course of true love be deterred for long. Have faith, my friends and furries -- there's more to this story, even through the rough patch.
