Tearin’ ‘Em Up
As I mentioned in the previous strip, I was a temp assigned to an HMO to enter data from their customer surveys. I was hired in late September, and they were sure that I’d have enough work to keep me occupied until Christmas. I developed a rhythm to the input, got up to speed, and I was done at 10:00am on the day before Thanksgiving — a full month ahead of schedule. I promise that I didn’t tear up a single form. I was just that good. (Was that only 2008? How time flies…)
I seem to have missed the 25,000 hits milestone notice, so I’ll let you know that we’ve now sailed past 30,000 views, and nearly 300 subscribers. Thanks to all of you for helping to make us so popular!
As always, don’t forget to subscribe to us; scroll down and enter your email at the bottom of the page (and remember, we’re always SAFE for work… okay, on rare occasions, we’re “PG-13”, but not in language, just the sly innuendo). If you’re enjoying the comic, please use the buttons below to link us into your social media, or consider supporting us through our Patreon. We’re serious: Even $1/month keeps us going and growing. Costs of internet connections, not to mention hardware for it, is becoming more expensive over here, so we’d really appreciate some help to keep us up to speed! This strip couldn’t exist without them!
