Take That, White Boy

Theo: “You want to do what?” Cora: “I want you to take me out. At least for a walk. Maybe a soda.”
Theo: “Out. As in, outside the house?” Cora: “Exactly. You’ve never said where we are. I may not even have been in this town before.”
Theo: “You know I won’t be in tiger form outside the house, right?” Cora: “Exactly!”
Theo: “And you think this is a good thing, why?” Cora: “I think you need some sun. Your fur is looking a little pale.”

Our favorite tiger is going to have to take the chance that it’s not just his stripes that Cora likes so much. Guys can be a little slow when it comes to moving a relationship forward. Gals, too; dating awkwardness is an equal-opportunity obstacle. It’s not easy to reveal yourself to another person. In this case, Cora is taking the lead, and I don’t think Theo is going to mind too much.
