For once, I’m not responsible for this happy outrage of a pun. It was foisted upon… er, given to me, most graciously, by (not the Supreme Court Chief Justice) John Roberts, who’s been waiting a good number of years to see it brought into the comic. Meanwhile, the court (in a rare 8-1 decision) has said that this comic does not violate the Foist Amendment right to have puns thrust upon you. I won’t say which court, just in case you want to go look it up. If you’ve followed this strip for any length of time, you clearly haven’t been pun-ished enough.
