Welcoming the Guest

Lightfoot: “My fellow housemates, may I present Cora.”
Lightfoot: “This is Sheila…” Sheila: “G’day!” Lightfoot: “…and Ophelia.”
Ophelia: “Welcome, Cora. You’re quite literally our first guess in this house.” Sheila: “…and we’re all really curious how it happened.”
Cora: “Are you going to help me tell this story?” Theo: “I promise not to embellish the part where we fought off the orcs.”

A truly dramatic moment, as Cora makes her entrance, seeing the entire furry household in one place, ready to tell her story. I’m sure Theo wouldn’t make up any tall tales (or tails). After all, Morton didn’t really look like an orc, did he? He certainly had fewer hit points than any orc I’ve ever had to do battle with… (Confession of age: I played D&D when it was contained in one 48-page booklet.)

I’m guessing that in the process of telling her story she finds her furry self.

Morton struck me as being more akin to a goblin or kobold (favoring ambush tactics).

On that note, I have a feeling we have not seen the last of him…
