A Matter of Belief

Ophelia: “Caedmon, what do you mean, we’re having guests? We can’t have guests.”
Sheila: “Simply getting someone in the door would cause problems.” Caedmon: “You’ll be meeting her in a few minutes.” Ophelia: “Her?”
Ophelia: “Wait a minute. Are you telling me that Theo’s female fantasy is real after all?” Caedmon: “It is indeed she. Theo was telling the truth.”
Sheila: “Cor… Looks like I’ll have to start believing His Tigerness more often.” Caedmon: “There’s no need to go to extremes.”

Caedmon may be willing to admit when he’s wrong but, when it comes to Theo, things should be taken on a case-by-case basis. Our badger doesn’t come from “The Show Me State” (Missouri); he was raised in the state just north of it. With all the politicking that goes on in Iowa, as well as all the farming, Caedmon grew up knowing what “fertilizer” smells like.
