Library Still Life

Narration bar: In the gray dawn of morning, the cleverly disguised fox lets himself into another of his sanctuaries: The Public Library.
Narration bar: Coming to work ahead of everyone else, Lightfoot is free to be himself for the first few hours of his day. Lightfoot: “Haáhe, everyone! Wake to another day.”
Narration bar: Who are you talking to? There’s no one here… Lightfoot: “There’s always someone in a library, no matter the time of day.”
Narration bar: We apologize for the behavior of the crazy fox. Lightfoot: “Suit yourself.” Poster of Kurt Vonnegut: “So it goes.”

Welcome to another glimpse of what our furry friends do to help make their financial way through life. As you may know, Lightfoot is a librarian, having all but grown up in one during his youth in San Francisco. It’s only natural that he would have a special affinity for his workplace. Libraries are special places anyway, and if you’re like Lightfoot, they can tell you more than just what’s in the books.
