Zombie Go Splat

Theo: “There’s something relaxing about making zombie’s heads go splodey.” Lightfoot: “It’s good for working out aggression, I suppose.”
Theo: “Some people take out their aggression on bubble wrap.” Lightfoot: “You mean the plastic packing stuff with all the bubbles? It does make a rather satisfying sound. Like popping caps, without the black powder.”
Theo: “Sort of like these nice squishy sound effects when we blow up bunches of zombies.” Lightfoot: “You realize, of course, what this means?”
Theo: “Zombies are ambulatory bubble-wrap?” Lightfoot: “Keep shooting that brain matter, tiger.”

This one was inspired by an observation by Jy L (not to be confused with J Lo), who is a gamer’s gamer, from video-anything to D&D-style. I’m terrible at either of these, although I do occasionally get a brainstorm, conjuring something for a D&D-type game. I once created a special monster for Jy L and his team to fight, suggesting it to his DM, figuring it would give his players something radically crazy to deal with. Sadly, although I was told that the DM thought it wonderful, he never had a chance to use it. Dungeon Masters: Ask for details privately, so your players will be thoroughly surprised!
