It's a Jungle Out There

Ophelia: “Anything we can throw together?” Lightfoot: “Let’s take a look.”
Ophelia: “Pasta, sauce, canned tuna, pickled earthworms…” Lightfoot: “I think Caedmon has dibs on those.”
Theo: “Beef taco roll-ups, corn dogs, and pepperoni pizza rolls.”
Ophelia: “Is that the way a real tiger would eat?” Lightfoot: “That’s why it’s a jungle out there, not in here.”

Real tigers eat very differently. Then again, real tigers don’t have access to frozen snacks and microwave ovens. Humans are a little different. I knew someone for whom this was his “breakfast of champions”. Of course, “breakfast time” for him was about 11am, so maybe it wasn’t so unbelievable after all.

I’ve been asked whether or not badgers like earthworms. I can only say that I completely trust Wildlife Aid on this one; Simon wouldn’t lead me wrong, and here’s a video to prove it.     I’m an Anglophile, mostly; as I type this reply, I’m visiting Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, where the money is in dollars, yet I still want to say “quid,” lol! Wildlife Aid is in England, so “quid” would be right. They’re wonderful folk, and I hope that they might get some assistance from all of us, whether USD, AUD, Eruo, quid, or anything else. Thanks!

      Oh, cool. I’ve always wanted to visit Australia and no, it wasn’t because of “Crocodile Dundee”. LOL. Unfortunately, it’s completely out of the question.
