Sheila Rising

Ophelia: “How is Sheila’s basketball league doing?” Lightfoot: “Quite well, I hear.”
Caedmon: “She says that her team is definitely headed for the league finals.” Lightfoot: “We should all go watch sometime. She’s really good.”
Narration bar: Even in amateur sports, some people will rise above others. (Sheila’s team is the Downtowners; the opposing team is the Jockettes.)
Narration bar: Especially on jump shots.

Our girl Sheila knows how to play some serious hoops. Her team is called the “Downtowners” because they specialize in scoring those 3-point baskets from mid-court (“downtown”). In this match-up, her team is playing the “Jockettes” (which is supposed to be a play on the “Rockettes” of Radio City Music Hall fame). Once again, when no one else is looking, we can see her in her anthro form, even when she’s out of the house. In basketball, being a ‘roo might be called “species advantage.”
