Upper narration bar (Cora’s house): So, you wanted to get them together. Now that they’re together, what next?  Lower narration bar (Theo’s house): That’s going to depend on several factors. Wait and see.
Upper narration bar: Why did you want them together? Lower narration bar: They can help each other. It’s time for the girl to have an answer.
Upper narration bar: What about your young tiger? Is he part of you Machiavellian machinations?  Lower narration bar: Sometimes, we have to be a little cruel in order to be kind.
Upper narration bar: What’s that then, Sigmund Freud?  Lower narration bar: I’ve always preferred Bob Vila, myself.

As Cora and Theo continue chatting, oblivious to Morton’s scheming, our two houses are also chatting to one another. The gateway between them had to have been set up somehow, right? Now we know how and why.
