Here's Lookin' At You, Kid

Theo: “Thanks for taking me out, Cora. It’s usually the guy who takes the gal out on a first date.” Cora: “Is that what this is? Our first date?”
Theo: “It’s our first time in public. The first time you’ve seen me as a human. That could be a first date. Depends on how you look at it.”
Cora looks at Theo, seeing him as his tiger self.
Cora: “Here’s lookin’ at you, kid.”

Yes, I stole from Bogart and Casablanca. It’s a particularly good line to steal for a romance, don’t you think?

We’ve reached the end of this bit of Cora and Theo’s story, but they’ll be back, I promise. Prepare for more egegious puns, returning characters, and more surprises as the year progresses. Stay tuned!

Good ol’ Bogey! Casablanca is indeed one of those films that everyone should know about.
