Voice on phone: “Ophelia, do you have the Wanatabe brief?” Ophelia: “Remind me, what was it about?”
Voice on phone: “Our client feels that he was wrongly terminated from his job because he dropped trou and mooned his boss.” Ophelia: “Oh yes…”
Ophelia: “I’m not sure we can win this one; it’s less a legal matter than an accounting problem.” Voice on phone: “Accounting?”
Ophelia: “He showed his assets, and it became a liability.” Voice on phone: “Let’s hope his equity can pay his bill.

Ophelia’s work at her law firm, Doolittle & Waite, provides her with a great many opportunities to display her wide range of knowledge. She knows the law, accounting, and the opening for a good pun when it presents itself. We can hope that, with the income provided in this case, the client doesn’t find it too taxing.
