As Cora and Theo continue chatting, oblivious to Morton’s scheming, our two houses are also chatting to one another. The gateway between them had to have been set up somehow, right? Now we know how and why.

Garry Trudeau’s famous Doonesbury rocker was known for talking too much between songs. With that happy precedent, I will announce that this strip was supposed to have appeared two slots ago, before we even get to Morton. I hope it works as well here, because the comments between the houses become more important as time moves on. (Just as a side note: This entire story arc is happening on the best Sunday that our tiger has ever had.)
